I have a job.
That's the biggie. I love my job. I'm a barista (coffee maker) and so far I have met many amazing people. Including Stephen Fry. Fucking HIGHLIGHT. OF. MY. LIFE. Until I gottiger.
Yeah, it's pretty chill tbh. By day I rock the streets in my fabulishus dress, or dish out some mad skills on my beloved sewing machine. And by night I'm one chill motherfucker, pleasing the crowds with my elixir of motherfucking life. You don't even know.

I'm well on track now to have a great piece of apple pie lifestyle. Got my gazillion year plan all set out. For those of you who want to stalk. I shall be in the weta team. Note: I do not HOPE to be a part of Weta. I /WILL/ be a part of weta. No fucking hopebuts about it.
I'm entering every costume competition I can get my sexy little fingers on. Wellington Armageddon, Auckland Geddon, and WOW. That's all for 2012, who knows if we'll even get to the next year . (dont start on the mayan calendar shit. DNW. DNC. STFU.)

UHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I have a nice holiday coming up soon~ WOOH. 12 mofoing days of no work. And getting paid to do nothiiiiiing. Probably going to rock out to stokes and I will pick up my mother-in-law because she needs to come in for a fitting so her outfit for armageddon is purrrrfect. No srsly. Shannan. Get yo ass to wellington. We've already started your outfit. Disciple and Signless are nearly finished XD


Yeah, to be honest not much has changed but at the same time, everything has changed. My interests, and living situation hasn't changed (live with parents? no rent. no rent? more expensive cosplays >3) but my whole mindset and attitude to life has. I don't coast by as much as used to in school.
I may do that on my days off, but I contribute a lot more now, and I'm much more aware of the world around me. Sure I still have the odd tantrum because my favourite pants are in the wash, or because I can't wear a dress due to hurricane force winds, but I know that it's just one day to get through before I can have a redo on the next day. I always said I didn't want to grow up, and that I would really miss being a kid.
And I do, SO MUCH. But I remember those great days I had back in the Hutt or back in the Bay of Plenty, but I'm also looking forward to the fun days I can have now, in my new life. The little hands of my childhood were used for picking boogers and painting crude pictures, but now I have grown up hands that are stitching together an awesome pathway, and I can't wait to follow it.
